DreamDetected ("we", "us") provides AI-assisted dream analysis. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. Dream content is personal and sometimes sensitive, and we treat it accordingly.
Information we collect
- Account data: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile image.
- Dream content: the dream descriptions you submit and the analyses we generate for you.
- Usage data: the number of analyses you run (to enforce plan limits) and basic technical logs.
- Billing data: handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
How we use your information
- To generate and store your dream analyses and journal.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To enforce free-plan limits and manage paid subscriptions.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the service.
Third-party processors
We share data only with processors that help us run the service: OpenAI (to generate analyses from the dream text you submit), Stripe (payments), our database host Neon, and our email provider (sign-in links). We do not sell your personal data.
Data retention & your rights
We keep your dreams and account data until you delete them or close your account. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data (e.g. under GDPR or CCPA). To exercise these rights or request deletion, contact us at the address below.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and limit access to it.
